Overview

Our AI analyzes your recipient's profile and wishlist to generate personalized gift ideas that fit within the group's budget.

How It Works

The AI considers:

  • Profile information - Bio and interests
  • Wishlist items - What they've already asked for
  • Budget range - The group's min/max limits
  • General preferences - Patterns in their choices

Then generates 5 unique gift suggestions tailored to them.

Accessing AI Suggestions

From Your Assignment

  • View your Secret Santa assignment
  • Click Get AI Suggestions or View Suggestions
  • Or navigate to /groups/[groupId]/suggestions

Requirements

  • The draw must be complete
  • You must have a recipient assigned
  • Your recipient should have some profile info or wishlist items

Understanding Suggestions

Each suggestion includes:

Gift Name

A clear, specific gift idea

Description

Details about the gift and why it would be good

Estimated Price

Approximate cost (in the group's currency)

Reasoning

Why the AI thinks this matches your recipient

Help Your Santa Get Better Suggestions for You

  • Complete your profile - Add a bio and interests
